Platform Trolleys

Platform Trolleys are the sorts of trolley you might have seen at your local garden centre or DIY super store except a lot smaller. They are great to transport supplies around and move on and off without doing the extra lifting needed to put them into a wheelbarrow. The flat design allows you to make full use of the base and the trolley area to be fully utilised.

While these trolleys are not suitable for gardeners in some cases and should not be used for going over soil or long grass, they are certainly of use on flat surfaces like patios or backyards.

Although many new garden trolleys have sides that can be dropped down or removed to create a flat base sometimes a platform trolley can be a better option depending on the circumstances. Most should be able to be folded and stored neatly away (but always check the title or description).
